Last reviewed on 14 March 2026. This notice explains what personal data BlazeKit Freight Sdn Bhd collects, why we collect it, and how you can exercise your rights under the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
Who we are
BlazeKit Freight Sdn Bhd (Companies Commission of Malaysia registration 202301015842 (1511783-K)) is the data controller for personal information processed through this website, our quotation desk and our operational systems. Our registered office is at Level 12, Menara Symphony, No. 5, Jalan Prof Khoo Kay Kim, Seksyen 13, 46200 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. Our data protection contact is reachable at [email protected].
What we collect
We hold three broad categories of personal information.
- Identification details — your name, employer, job title, business email, business phone number and, where you provide it, postal address.
- Operational details — the shipping briefs, commercial invoices, packing lists and customs paperwork you share with us so that we can move and clear cargo on your behalf.
- Web data — IP address, browser type, referring page, pages visited and aggregated interaction data captured by privacy-respecting analytics on this site.
Why we use it
The lawful bases on which we process personal information are:
- To respond to enquiries. When you complete our form, email us or telephone our desk, we use the contact details you provide to reply and, if relevant, to put a quotation together.
- To deliver freight services. Operational records are processed to book carriers, clear customs, arrange warehousing and invoice for services rendered.
- To meet legal obligations. Under the Customs Act 1967, the Companies Act 2016 and tax legislation, we are required to retain certain records for defined periods.
- To improve our website. Aggregate analytics help us see which pages help visitors and which are confusing.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary personal data with the following categories of recipient:
- Carriers, airlines, shipping lines, road hauliers and port handling agents booked on your behalf.
- Customs authorities in Malaysia and overseas, including Royal Malaysian Customs (RMCD).
- Partner agents at the receiving end of your shipment, named on the booking ticket.
- Insurance underwriters and surveyors when you ask us to arrange cargo or marine cover.
- Our auditors, legal advisors and statutory regulators when required.
We never sell personal data, and we do not share it for marketing purposes beyond the BlazeKit Freight group.
International transfers
Freight forwarding is a cross-border activity. As a consequence, your operational details will inevitably be transferred outside Malaysia — for example, to the carrier loading the cargo or to the customs authority at destination. Where we choose a processor outside Malaysia (for example, a cloud-based ticketing system), we ensure equivalent protections are in place through contractual safeguards.
How long we retain personal data
Operational documentation is retained for seven years in line with Malaysian tax and customs legislation. Marketing preferences are kept until you ask us to remove them. Web analytics data is anonymised after twenty-six months.
Your rights under the PDPA
You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to ask for inaccurate data to be corrected, to limit our processing in certain circumstances, and to withdraw consent where we rely on consent as a basis for processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected].
If you remain dissatisfied with how we have handled your personal data you may complain to the Department of Personal Data Protection (Jabatan Perlindungan Data Peribadi) in Putrajaya.
Security
Our operational systems are hosted in Malaysian data centres with ISO 27001 certification. Access to personal data is role-based, two-factor authentication is enforced for all staff, and we run an annual penetration test against our externally exposed services.

We will revise this page whenever our processing practices change. Material updates are flagged at the top of the page for thirty days. For prior versions, please write to [email protected].
