Home › Specialist Cargo Handling

The cargo that does not fit the box, planned the way it should be.

Generators, transformers, mining equipment, plant relocations, marine cargo, indivisible loads — the shipments that need a route survey, a permit application and a foreman on site at three in the morning. We have done hundreds.

Specialist cargo

Engineering-led freight planning.

Every project starts with a brief and a route survey. Where can the trailer turn? Which bridge is rated for the axle load? Where do we need police escort? What is the lift plan at the receiving site? Our coordinators walk these questions through with you before we put a number on the page.

  • Heavy lift up to four hundred tonnes single piece with chartered or partner vessels.
  • Oversized road haulage with permits secured from JPJ and JKR in advance.
  • In-house riggers and lashing supervisors for vessel and trailer loading.
  • Route surveys with civil engineers, drone imagery and timed dry-runs.
  • Marine warranty surveyors arranged for insurance-sensitive consignments.

Industries we know

Where specialist freight planning earns its keep.

Oil and gas

Skids, completion equipment, drill pipe, downhole tools moved to Bintulu, Labuan, Lutong and beyond.

Power and renewables

Transformers, switchgear and wind components moved into substations and turbine sites across Peninsular Malaysia.

Mining and aggregates

Crushers, haul trucks, screening plant moved into Pahang and Sarawak with bridge-rating studies.

Manufacturing relocations

Production lines disassembled, palletised, shipped and re-commissioned with no production gap counted in weeks.

Marine and offshore

Heavy lift charters, barge moves, sub-sea structures and oversized hull sections.

Construction plant

Tower cranes, formwork and prefab modules timed against the build sequence on site.

How a specialist project unfolds.

1. Engineering brief

We sit with your project engineer, capture dimensions, weights, lifting points and timing windows.

2. Route survey

Physical survey of the full route from origin to destination, with photographs and a written go/no-go report.

3. Permits and escorts

JPJ, JKR, PLUS, police and toll concessionaires aligned in advance with documented permits.

4. Mobilisation

Trailers, modular haulers, cranes, riggers and escort crews mobilised against a written timeline.

5. Execution

Supervisor on site at origin and destination. Time-stamped photographs lodged to the booking ticket throughout.

6. Hand-over

Equipment received by your team, paperwork signed off, project closeout report shared the same week.

Frequently asked — specialist cargo

What is the heaviest piece you have moved?

A single 386-tonne transformer from Port Klang into a substation in Pahang, using a 24-axle modular hauler with a programmed night convoy and three temporary bypass roads built by the highway concessionaire.

Can you arrange marine warranty survey?

Yes. We work with three independent warranty surveyors and will appoint at your direction or to your insurer’s nomination. Their report is shared with you in full.

Do you organise permits for over-dimensional loads?

Always. Permits with JPJ, JKR, MOTAC and the relevant state highway concession are part of the scope and are listed on the quotation by name and validity date.

How early should we engage you on a project?

Ideally during your tender or pre-FID phase. The earlier we see drawings and site access plans, the more we can engineer cost out and avoid surprises during execution.

Bring us the drawings — we will bring the route plan.

Drop your project scope to our operations team and we will respond with a planning call within one working day.
