Terms & Conditions

Effective 14 March 2026. These terms govern your use of blazekit.help and the engagement of BlazeKit Freight Sdn Bhd for freight forwarding, customs brokerage and warehousing services.

1. Definitions

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to BlazeKit Freight Sdn Bhd (Companies Commission of Malaysia registration 202301015842 (1511783-K)). “You” refers to any natural person or company that visits the website, requests a quotation or engages our services. “Services” means freight forwarding, customs brokerage, warehousing, distribution and ancillary logistics activities provided by us.

2. Acceptance

By using this website, requesting a quotation or instructing us to handle a shipment, you accept these terms and the Malaysian Logistics Council Standard Trading Conditions (MLC STC) most recently published before the date of acceptance. In the event of inconsistency, the MLC STC prevails for matters of carriage, customs and warehousing liability.

3. Quotations and engagement

Quotations are valid for fourteen calendar days from the date of issue unless a different validity is stated on the face of the quotation. A quotation becomes binding only when accepted in writing and a booking has been confirmed by our coordinator. We reserve the right to revise rates before booking confirmation where market rates have moved materially, in which case the revised rate is communicated and you may withdraw without obligation.

4. Your responsibilities

You warrant that all information supplied to us (commercial invoices, packing lists, declarations, certificates of origin, dangerous goods documentation) is accurate, complete and provided in good time. You agree that you remain liable for any duties, taxes, surcharges, demurrage or detention arising from inaccurate, incomplete or late information.

You confirm that the cargo presented to us is correctly described, properly packed and labelled, and may lawfully be exported from the origin and imported into the destination country.

5. Pricing and payment

Invoices are denominated in Malaysian Ringgit unless otherwise agreed. Payment is due within fourteen days of the invoice date, by bank transfer to the account stated on the invoice. Late payment attracts interest at one and a half per cent per month, calculated on a daily basis, plus reasonable recovery costs.

For first-time engagements and high-risk consignments, we may request payment in advance of execution. Any such request will be communicated to you before booking.

6. Liability

Our liability is governed by the MLC STC and by the international conventions that apply to each mode of transport — the Warsaw or Montreal Conventions for air freight, the Hague-Visby Rules for ocean carriage, the CMR Convention where applicable for road carriage, and the Carriers’ Act 1959 for inland Malaysian carriage. We strongly recommend that you arrange all-risk cargo insurance for shipments where the commercial value materially exceeds these limits.

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or pure economic loss, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of contract, loss of production or reputational damage.

7. Cancellation

Cancellations received before container loading or air waybill issuance are accepted without charge other than reasonable administrative costs already incurred. Cancellations after loading or AWB issuance attract pass-through charges from carriers, terminals and customs authorities, and our administrative fee.

8. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events outside reasonable control, including weather, port strikes, carrier insolvency, regulatory directives, pandemic measures and acts of public authority. We will however do everything reasonable to mitigate the impact, including rerouting and re-booking at cost.

9. Confidentiality

Information you share with us in the course of an engagement is treated as confidential and is shared only with those carriers, agents and authorities required to deliver the service. Confidential information is not used for any other purpose.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes that cannot be resolved by direct dialogue between senior managers will be referred to mediation under the Asian International Arbitration Centre Mediation Rules. Failing settlement, the courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction.
